Right now we are 3 miles from the finish. We stopped to clean up a bit and compose ourselves. We’ve spent the last 4 hours of this 150 mile riding completely all-out. No regrets, nothing left on the table. Every time we’ve thought we had nothing left, there was always a little more. What do you say we go check out the beach?

We got hit by a crazy summer thunderstorm while on gravel roads and had to power through it by the lights of the team van as the sun was setting. Anything else you all would like to see? We’ve finished riding by the lights of the team van so many times on this trip I can’t even remember what stage this is from. But we didn’t last night, and we hopefully won’t tonight. We’re about to roll out for our final 150 miles from New Haven to Plymouth. We’ll touch the Atlantic and finally see our friends and family. This ride may be near its end, but Leave It On The Road is just beginning. We’re excited to share what comes next with you… After we take care of this last piece of business. Stages 22 & 23 added up to about 22,000 feet of climbing. We should’ve gotten @mrjoestaples to donate a buck per foot of climbing instead of a buck a mile. (at Up Up Up)

This day (and night) was utter insanity.
