The end of a long day riding into the winds on the plains of South Dakota. Now that we’re mostly out of them, we can look back and laugh. But those were without a doubt the toughest days of the ride so far. (at Kadoka, SD)
Wisconsin is awesome. We’ve eaten fried cheese curds, done about 65 miles of Portland-esque climbs, and have not been repeatedly punched in the gut by 20+ mph headwinds. Yet.

Another stage down, and we have reached the 2 week milestone! 140 miles today to Austin, MN. All of it with a ferocious headwind. There were some good times, some bonking, some vomiting and the suitcase of courage was taken out and opened yet again. We are glad to put this one behind us and go get some pizza. Only ten days left to go!
