March third.
Today would have been my father’s 61st birthday. It is hard not feel angry. Hard not to feel bitter and cheated. Hard not to feel like the cancer won. But my dad never let that get the best of him while he fought for 11 years. He was always positive, right up until his final days. And sometimes I have to remind myself of that. We called this ride Leave It On The Road because we’re going to leave all the negatives behind and make room for something positive. That is what my father would have done. Happy 61st dad. And fuck cancer.

Some shots of this weekend’s training activities in Bend, OR. Birthday boys Michael, Patrick & Kyle did about 150 miles of riding in two days and caught some epic scenery.
